A meaningful project from Upfilts (PulpoAR) and IGA Istanbul Airport for the World Autism Awareness Day!

A meaningful project from Upfilts (PulpoAR) and IGA Istanbul Airport for the 2 April World Autism Awareness Day:  Proceeds from the NFTs at the Digital Painting Exhibition will be donated to the Turkish Autistic Support and Education Foundation (TODEV).

IGA Istanbul Airport announced the “Dreams Are Moving to Digital – From Canvas to Pixels” project. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Turkish Autistic Support and Education Foundation (TODEV) and Upfilts (PulpoAR company) as the technology partner for the 2 April World Autism Awareness Day.

The exhibition, which consists of the works of children with autism participating in the project, also drew attention with its digital aspect.

Within the scope of the project, the children drew their dream travel. The pictures were transferred to platforms such as SparkAR and made digitally recognizable by Upfilts team. Inspired by the narratives that children made while drawing, all the pictures were strengthened with visual effects and animations using various 2 and 3 dimensional design programs. With AR technology, it is possible for users to experience the pictures enriched by animation through their social media accounts. Thus, children’s limitless imaginations have been digitalized for them to be better understood.

The last step of the project was the creation of NFT copies of the children’s works. They announced that the paintings, which are unique in every sense, were put up for sale for $1000 each and the proceeds would be donated to TODEV.

We are extremely proud that Upfilts, a PulpoAR company, is part of  such an important and innovative project!
